Big Band Dance event conjures memories of the past

My grandmother grew up in the age of big band music. She would often talk about it with such passion. Now, you can relive that era of the big bands during an event at the Elks Lodge Thursday night.
The Tune Swingers Orchestra with vocalist Donna Francis will perform classic, ballroom-style arrangements from the golden age of the big band era, so you can fox trot, waltz and swing dance.
The party is from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
