All right, we'll go ahead and just start with questions for coach events, so feel free to go ahead and raise your hands and we'll start with will again. Mhm. Hey coach there in the seventh inning, uh, it looked like you guys had a chance to score, but uh little miscommunication there, Costanera third base. Uh, what do you think kind of went on right there? And did you think he uh should have tagged on that play? Well obviously, you know, he was gonna tag, he just, he may have misread the fly ball and uh, I want to get a better jump than he probably needed to get. Uh and uh he left early. He's a smart player. He realized he left early, went back to re tag and knew he shouldn't chance it and he did the right thing there, but he just uh probably tried to be a little too good when he only had to do was regular tag. And obviously um we haven't played Duke all year and didn't know the strength of the center fielders arm and he just wanted to make sure and try to get a little too good to jump there. Thanks Coach Andrew. You can go, Elliot, obviously not the result that you guys wanted her that he wanted, but how big was Chris's performance today out there with what he did to keep you guys in the game. I thought both he and Matt were outstanding. You know, Willison goes out there. That's quite an environment. And uh, you're pitching against the team that's won 11 games in a row. Obviously hot. You're pitching against the veteran stinson who was there friday night starter last year and uh, has a long experience out there and uh, you, you knew you had to match a guy like that pitch for pitching. So I thought what Map and and Chris both did was outstanding in this environment on this stage. It's just both of those young men grew up tremendously today. They've been good all year force but they took enough their step from the growth process and rob. You can go ahead. Yeah Elliot. What was your message to your team after the game? It was a long message I mean I talked to him and you know said what I had to say but uh you try to learn in every game and as much as I would have liked to see them out there on that field collect the A. C. C. Championship trophy. Their team that uh I thought that would be special for this ball club. They've done a lot together with few people. Um um They're almost like the marine slowed in the few the proud and the wolf pack. But I uh that's just we learned in the Carolina game. We got down eight nothing and didn't quit in a game that could have gotten ugly. And uh, we tried to grow from that for the rest of this term. This is a grueling tournament. This tournament starts with 12 of the best teams in the country. This weekend, starts with four of the best teams in the country. So, uh, as much as we would have liked to. So, uh, God, this acc championship, uh, there is a bigger prize out there. And if we can reflect on this game, learn from not only this game with this tournament and have a good week of practice, we're looking forward to playing next weekend. All right. Hi, everyone. Meteorologist Anthony Baglione here in the Wral Severe Weather Center. Let's talk about our forecast as we head into the upcoming week. As we head past this weekend, we have a couple of things there, what we're tracking as far as sunshine returning. So it's been definitely kind of a cloudy weekend for most of us on the whole. Should be a very pleasant start to the week though. Some sunshine getting through warmer temperatures, nineties by the time we get into our Thursday and then a holiday weekend, rain chances very early starting on, let's say Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. We're just tracking the potential for some rain heading into the holiday weekend. I'll talk about that here in just a second. Otherwise, let's talk about what we're looking at here. Future cast wise, there could be a spotty Sprinkle as we get into tonight for the most part though. Uh, just about everyone's quiet. Something to keep in mind though. There could be some fog out there for your Monday morning commute. We should start off with a little bit of fog. We'll start off with partly cloudy skies and really keep a mix of sun and clouds through the majority of the day. It'll be dry though to start the week and actually a pretty good day. If you want to just enjoy out on the patio or something, it should be fine. Maybe firing up the grill tomorrow night. Sounds kind of good. We go to 80 degrees for a high temperature tomorrow. 76 at seven o'clock. And then we start to see a warm up once again. 84 on Tuesday, 88 on Wednesday, we should hit 91 by the time we get to our Thursday 86 on Friday. And I know a lot of times when that heat kind of comes back into the forecast that begs the question, is it gonna feel gross as you walk outside? I really don't think it will the next couple of days it does get back in the humid kind of category though for us Thursday, Friday, we're not quite too tropical where we could be during the summertime months. But I think for our Monday, Tuesday, even into Wednesday, it should feel fine as you're headed out. Just a little bit of humidity. There's what we're looking at here the next seven days. 80 on our Monday, 84 on Tuesday, we go to 88 Wednesday 91 Thursday. You see those rain chances starting to come in there. Thursday, Thursday night, a stray shower or a thunderstorm. The best chances at the this point look to come in Friday night, Saturday during the morning, we may get a break. Saturday afternoon, Sunday afternoon doesn't look like total drenching conditions, but just enough where if you're traveling, you may want to keep an eye on the forecast here with a couple of chances of showers and storms.
