Authorities seek help identifying men in Warren County murder case

Local and state authorities are looking for two men caught on surveillance video walking near the scene of a homicide in Warren County on Thursday.

WARRENTON, N.C. — Local and state authorities are looking for two men caught on surveillance video walking near the scene of a homicide in Warren County on Thursday.

Stanley “Tomahawk” Richardson Jr., 40, of 113 Rabbit Bottom Road, Warrenton, was shot and killed in his front yard where a passerby discovered his body at approximately 3 p.m.

Investigators from the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the SBI are seeking help from the public to identify the men in the video who might have "information pertinent to the case."

They were allegedly seen walking on Rabbit Bottom Road between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

It's unclear if the men are suspects in Richardson's death.
