Authorities said that deputies responded to a report of shots fired in the 600 block of Goodwin Road at about 5 p.m.

<b>DURHAM, N.C.</b> — The Durham County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot Sunday evening.

A man who was not identified was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, authorities said.

Investigators were interviewing witnesses and persons of interest Sunday night. No further information was available.
