At the Fair: Grover, Curious George scheduled at Marbles, UNC-TV booth

If you're at the N.C. State Fair on Saturday with young kids, you'll want to head on over to the Marbles Kids Museum and UNC-TV booth to meet some kid favorites.

The tent next to Dorton Arena has lined up a bunch of popular PBS characters on Saturday. Admission is free. You'll also find some games and other activities here too.

Here's the schedule for Saturday:

10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.: Grover from Sesame Street

10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Curious George & Betsy from Betsy’s Kindergarten Adventures

11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.: Sid the Science Kid and Martha from Martha Speaks

11:30 a.m. to noon: Read-a-roo and Charles the Chef

Noon to 12:30 p.m.: Grover from Sesame Street

12:30 p.m. to 1 p.m.: Curious George and Betsy from Betsy’s Kindergarten Adventures

1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Sid the Science Kid and Martha from Martha Speaks

1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.: Grover from Sesame Street

Read-a-roo will be at the tent between about 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, for storytimes. And throughout the fair, other characters will make appearances, but they aren't scheduled.
