Armed Men Rob Raleigh Convenience Store

Raleigh police are searching for two armed men who robbed a convenience store in Raleigh on Thursday.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are searching for two armed men who robbed a convenience store in Raleigh on Thursday.

Two men committed the robbery at the Longview Phillips store at 1700 New Bern Ave. shortly after 7 p.m. One carried a handgun, and the other was armed with a knife.

Police described one suspect as a black male in his early 20s, about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a red, hooded sweatshirt and a white t-shirt with an unknown design printed on it.

The second robber was a black male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a black leather coat with a hood, a white doo rag and a white t-shirt.

Anyone who can identify the suspect pictured in surveillance photos or has information that might assist investigators is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME.
