Angier auto shop owner found dead in Harnett County pond
The owner of Cecil's Paint and Body Shop was found dead in a Harnett County lake Sunday afternoon, relatives said.

LILLINGTON, N.C. — The owner of Cecil’s Paint and Body Shop was found dead in a Harnett County lake Sunday afternoon, relatives said.
Family members of Cecil Parrish said he went to walk his dog at about 3 p.m., but after not coming back and searching for him, his hat was found floating in a pond near Johnston County Road.
Authorities recovered his body two hours later.
Relatives believe Parrish, who they said had health issues, died from an apparent drowning.
Authorities are investigating the incident.
