Amazon driver helps Randolph County woman injured in car accident
The driver helped save the life of a 76-year-old woman whose car ran off the road and flipped over in a ditch. According to the family, Shirley Roberts was driving down Old Lexington Road when she suddenly swerved her car to avoid a dog in the road.

According to a WXII report, An Amazon delivery driver helped a Randolph County woman during an accident on Tuesday.
The driver helped save the life of a 76-year-old woman whose car ran off the road and flipped over in a ditch.
According to the family, Shirley Roberts was driving down Old Lexington Road when she suddenly swerved her car to avoid a dog in the road.
However, it could’ve been worse had Amazon delivery driver Amanda Smith not spotted Roberts’ car in that ditch.
Shirley Roberts spent 10 days in the hospital. She’s now in rehab recovering from her injuries
