Alcohol, speed factors in fatal Granville wreck
A 21-year-old man was killed Saturday night in a wreck on Tom Hunt Road in Granville County, according to the state Highway Patrol.

OXFORD, N.C. — A 21-year-old man was killed Saturday night in a wreck on Tom Hunt Road in Granville County, according to the state Highway Patrol.
William Ferguson died at the scene. His passenger, Megan King, was airlifted to Duke Hospital in Durham, where she was in the intensive care unit early Sunday.
Troopers said the cause of the wreck was still being investigated, but that speed and alcohol were believed to be factors.
