Air Force reserve wing will receive new commander

An Air Force reserve wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base will get a new commander on Sept. 23.

GOLDSBORO, N.C. — An Air Force reserve wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base will get a new commander on Sept. 23.

Col. Gregory Gilmour will command the 916th Air Refueling Wing on the base near Goldsboro. Gilmour replaces Col. Randall Ogden, who has led the wing since 2010.

Gilmour, who will be responsible for 1,200 active duty and reserve airmen, has 26 years of service in the Air Force and Navy.

A change of command ceremony will take place shortly after 9 a.m. on Sept. 23.
