For the kids with parents who are dragging them around to the Parade Of Homes this weekend, Terramor Homes has a great distraction.
To mark its 10th anniversary and support the local community, the Raleigh-based homebuilding company launched the Parade of Play Homes, which features a collection of 10 adorable play homes for kids. And, best of all, you can win one of these play homes just by purchasing a $10 raffle ticket. Raffle tickets are available for purchase through Dec. 20. The tickets are available online and at Terramor's communities.
You can see the 10 homes this weekend, during the Parade of Homes, in Terramor's communities. Proceeds from the raffle will go to Duke Children's Hospital and the YMCA of the Triangle.
"In our eyes, these organizations have made immeasurable impacts in the neighborhoods that have served us from our roots through the present day," said Michelle Simms, Terramor's chief operating officer and broker, in a press release.
The 10 play homes were designed by teams of Terramor employees. Teams included at least one builder. Winners will get the play home, which measure about 8-feet tall by 8-feet wide, along with items inside them such as a play kitchen in the sweet Meadows Cottage and play fire equipment in Cheswick Fire Station, No. 1.
The unique play homes take on all kinds of shapes. There's a lighthouse with a beach-themed interior and the Terramor Trailblazer, designed like a travel trailer. You can see them all in this image gallery.
