One person was injured Wednesday after a car struck a power pole in Raleigh.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — One person was injured Wednesday after a car struck a power pole in Raleigh, police said.

The accident occurred at around 2:45 a.m. at the intersection of Edenton and South Dawson streets. As of noon Wednesday, crews were still working to repair the power pole.

One person was taken to WakeMed. There is no word on that person's name or condition.
