Police said cars collided at intersection of Dallas Street and Owen Drive.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — A driver was killed in Fayettevillle early Wednesday after her car collided with another vehicle at an intersection, police said.

Fayetteville police identified the driver as Cecilia Duckett, 48, of the 200 block of Spears Drive in Fayetteville.

Police said Duckett was driving her Ford Focus on Dallas Street about 12:56 a.m. when she turned left onto Owen drive and into the path of a 2010 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by Scott Allen, 20, of Lotus Lane in Sanford.

Duckett was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Allen was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said they are continuing to investigate the accident.<br />

According to Highway Patrol, the crash was the result of a chase that started in Harnett County and ended on North Bragg Boulevard and Mckenzie Road in Spring Lake.
