ACC women's soccer championship offers free tickets for kids

Before WakeMed Soccer Park hosts the NCAA Women's Soccer College Cup in December, it will showcase the top ACC teams in November.

Before WakeMed Soccer Park hosts the NCAA Women's Soccer College Cup in December, it will showcase the top ACC teams for the conference's women's soccer championship in November.

And a big bonus to this year's games: Kids ages 18 and under are free!

Semifinal games are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., Nov. 6. Fireworks are planned between the first and second games on Friday evening. The final is set for 1 p.m., Nov. 8.

At last check, four ACC women's teams are ranked in the top 10 nationally - Florida State, Virginia, North Carolina and Clemson. You'll see some great play.

Tickets for each game are $10 for adults. Students at ACC schools also get in free with a valid student ID. You can buy tickets online. Free youth tickets can be picked up at the box office on game day. Parking will be free. Tickets are on sale now through the ACC's website.
The NCAA Women's Soccer College Cup is Dec. 4 and Dec. 6 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary.
