Craving sweets but gluten free? Try these places
With more people going gluten-free everyday, we decided to take a look at some of the places offering gluten-free dessert items.
Posted — UpdatedFolks who are gluten free need to stay away from gluten, which is a grain found in wheat, barley and rye. This makes it difficult to enjoy stuff like cakes, pies, cookies and bread (basically all my food groups) unless they are specifically labeled "gluten free."
But what if you have a craving for something sweet from a bakery? I found a few spots in the Triangle offering a good array of gluten free bakery items.
Many bakeries are starting to offer more gluten free options. Just check out your favorite one and ask about it.
