BURLINGTON, N.C. — Police in Burlington are asking for the public's help in finding a 90-year-old woman who's been missing since Saturday afternoon.

Ruzie Dixon Suggs was last seen around 5:30 p.m. after dropping off a friend in Greensboro, near U.S. Highway 29.

Police began investigating her disappearance after family members reported her missing Monday evening.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons has also issued a Silver Alert for Suggs, who might be suffering from mild dementia, investigators said. They think she might have become disoriented and traveled north on U.S. 29 into southern Virginia, near South Boston or Clarksville.

At the time of her disappearance, Suggs was driving a 2005 white Cadillac Deville with North Carolina license plate RUZIE1.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Burlington Police Department at 336-229-3500.
