All-American Week ended Thursday with a massive jump at Fort Bragg. People traveled from near and far to watch the 82nd Airborne Division put on a show at Sicily Drop Zone.

Elizabeth Milner and her 6-year-old son traveled from Alabama to experience the event.

"(My son) wanted to see the gun more than anything," she said. "He has a BB gun at home, so any gun is cool for him."

The Air Field Seizure is a typical mission for the 82nd, a special unit able to deploy in 48 hours.

"I think it's wonderful," said Jaqueline Tibbs. "I really admire everything these guys do, and being here kind of puts it a little more in perspective."

All-American Week is also about tradition. It is a time where old paratroopers return and get the new ones ready to follow in their footsteps.

"This is a tradition that we carry on," said former paratrooper Donald Wilson. "We just got inducted into our regimental unit with 173rd yesterday on Fort Bragg, and we had an outing and we're all marching in the parade today."

Following All-American Week, the 82nd gets to enjoy a 4-day weekend.
