Harris Teeter issued a voluntary recall Wednesday of its Fresh Foods Market Chocolate Jalapeno Glass dessert and was searching for shoppers that purchased the product in the past week at several stores, including two in the Triangle.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Harris Teeter issued a voluntary recall Wednesday of its Fresh Foods Market Chocolate Jalapeño Glass dessert and was searching for shoppers that purchased the product in the past week at several stores, including two in the Triangle.

Shoppers that purchased the product at Harris Teeter stores at Leesville Towne Center on Strickland Road in Raleigh and Stone Creek Village on Cornerstone Drive in Cary are asked to return it to any Harris Teeter for a double refund.

The UPC on the Fresh Food Market Chocolate Jalapeño Glass dessert is 20981000000. The product contains soy, wheat and hazelnut, which aren't declared on the ingredient list on the product packaging. Consumption of the product by anyone who has soy, wheat or hazelnut allergies could result in a serious reaction.
