Attorney General Investigates Limo Service Owner

The state Attorney General's office is looking into claims that dozens of clients paid thousands to Graham's Durham-based Rollz Royce Limousine for service they never received.

Five on Your Side received three more complaints since reporting on July 30 about a group of Kerr Vance Academy students who said they were stranded by Graham on prom night.

Students from Raleigh, Carborro and Warrenton also said they paid Graham upfront in amounts ranging from $490 to $1,350. On prom night, Graham called to say that the promised limo was broken down, students said.

None of them ever received a refund from Graham, the groups said.

Newlyweds from Farmville said that Graham treated them in the same way: He took $270 to transport them in a 2007 Bentley but never showed up.

Graham is only licensed to operate two Lincoln Continentals, according to Department of Motor Vehicle records.

Graham is also under fire for the way he's operated another business, the online Victory College of Theology.

Chris Evans, a former student, told 5 on Your Side he paid thousands of dollars for a masters degree only to learn that the school is not accredited.

Studying at Victory College got him "nothing but a cover" for the degree at graduation, Evans said.

Victory College's web site underwent a re-design right after 5 on Your Side first aired the complaints against Graham.

His photograph and name, along with a list of affiliated religious figures, were removed from the site. Before the redesign, Victory College's web site labeled Graham's picture as Dr. S.R. Graham.

Two of the religious figures formerly listed on web site denied any connection to Victory College after being asked by 5 on Your Side.

Speaking to 5 on Your Side for a second time, Graham repeated his promise that clients would receive a refund from Rollz Royce Limousine.

He refused to say when the students and newlyweds would get their refunds but did say his attorneys would contact 5 on Your Side.

Action Limousine in Raleigh has volunteered to take all the stiffed students out for a limo ride.
