Durham police charged three Durham men with robbing the same convenience store at gunpoint twice last year.

DURHAM, N.C. — Police charged three men with robbing the same Durham convenience store at gunpoint twice last year.

The three Durham men were identified as Osman Joel Calderon-Juarez, 19, Jose Daniel Cartenga-Juarez, 18, and Michael Yoel Maldonado-Madrid, 20, according to a news release from the Durham Police Department. They were charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, felony conspiracy, assault by pointing a gun, obtaining property by false pretense and possession of stolen goods.

Police said the men robbed the Morehead Mini Mart at 1601 Morehead Ave. on Nov. 23 and Dec. 31, 2015. They took cash, lottery tickets and a phone, according to police.

Calderon-Juarez was placed in the Durham County Jail under a $1 million bond. Cartenga-Juarez was given a $750,000 bond.

Maldonado-Madrid was arrested Monday night and was being held in the Durham County Jail under a $1.1 million bond.
