2 Wounded in Chapel Hill Shooting

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — A shooting left two people injured late Wednesday night in Chapel Hill, police said.

The shooting occurred around 10 p.m. on Gomains Avenue, a few blocks from Chapel Hill Town Hall, town police said.

A 31-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. A teenaged male was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Chapel Hill police said they had not made any arrests in the shooting early Thursday. They withheld the victims' names while they investigated the incident.
