2 people assaulted, robbed at gunpoint near NC State campus
Two people on Wednesday morning were assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in a parking deck on Hillsborough Street near North Carolina State University's campus, police said.

The Raleigh Police Department said the two people were in the parking deck of The Alley bowling lanes in the 2500 block of Hillsborough Street around 1:30 a.m. Police said three men wearing masks got out of a gray sedan and pointed handguns at the victims and robbed them of their money.
Both victims, who were not identified, were physically assaulted by one of the suspects.
The suspects fled in an unknown direction. Police said the victims were not associated with NCSU.
