17-year-old charged in dumbbell attack
A Raleigh teen was charged Monday after investigators said he attacked another teen with a dumbbell.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh teen was charged Monday after investigators said he attacked another teen with a dumbbell.
Logan Henry Washle, 17, of the 7000 block of Millstone Ridge Court, was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. Raleigh police said he attacked Zachary Salerno, 16, at Cardinal Gibbons High School on Edwards Mill Road.
Salerno was listed in serious condition Monday at WakeMed. Police said Salerno had injuries to his head and face that were not life-threatening.
