<b>ROSMAN, N.C.</b> — An Amber Alert issued Monday for a 15-year-old in the town of Rosman, in Transylvania County, has been canceled.

According to an overnight update, Carlos Manuel-Chinchilla Vanquez has been located. No other information was provided.

Vanquez had been last seen on Sunday wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants, athletic shoes and carrying a red and black backpack.

Officials say he was abducted. The amber alert says he may be with a man, traveling in a dark gray Nissan Rogue SUV. Officials say they believe he could be traveling through Texas to Mexico.

Vazquez is Hispanic, with black hair and brown eyes.
