15 arrested in string of Moore County break-ins, drugs complaints

More than a dozen people were arrested and charged in connection to a string of breaking and entering and drug complaints in northern Moore County.

CARTHAGE, N.C. — More than a dozen people were arrested and charged in connection to a string of break-ins and drug complaints in northern Moore County.

The Moore County Sheriff's Office said deputies recovered $20,000 in stolen property and more than $9,000 worth of methamphetamine, prescription pills, marijuana and two firearms. Sheriff Neil Godfrey said his office worked with the Randolph County Sheriff's Office and the Carthage Police Department to make arrests.

The following suspects were arrested and charged in the investigation:

–Daniel Reese Russell, 27, of Star, was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, two counts of felony larceny of a firearm, felony larceny, felony possession of a stolen firearm, two counts of felony possession of stolen goods, and one count of carrying a concealed weapon. He was given a $30,000 bond.

–Logan Michelle Scott, 23, of Troy, was charged with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny of a firearm, felony possession of a stolen firearm, and one count of carrying a concealed weapon. She was given a $17,500 bond.

–Brandon James Scott, 20, of Seagrove, was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony larceny, felony possession of stolen goods, misdemeanor larceny, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and injury to personal property. He was given an $11,000 bond.

–Corey Tyler Hussey, 16, of Cameron, was charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering, felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, three counts of felony larceny, two counts of felony possession of stolen goods. misdemeanor larceny, and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. He was given a $50,000 bond.

–Daniel Walter Schuh, 31, of Eagle Spring, was charged with three counts of felony breaking and entering, five counts of felony larceny and five counts of felony possession of stolen goods. He was given a $35,000 bond.

–Patricia Mae Beane, 35, of Asheboro, was charged with two counts of felony larceny and two counts of felony possession of stolen goods. She was given a $10,000 bond.

–Dillon Coyote Lyston, 25, of Eagle Springs, was charged with felony breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny and two counts of felony possession of stolen goods. He was given a $30,000 bond.

–William Patrick sanders, 44, of Robbins, was charged with felony possession of stolen goods. He was given a $2,000 bond.

–Jerimiah Harrison Brown, 28, of Seagrove, was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. He was given a $5,000 bond.

–Kimberly Anne Degroot, 26, of Aberdeen, was charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. She was given a $10,000 bond.

–John Farrel Chamalian Jr., 27, of Aberdeen, was charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods. He was given a $10,000 bond.

–Thomas Edward Duffell, 38, of Starr, South Carolina, was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle for the storage of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was given a $100,000 bond.

–Tabitha Troyer Wilder, 31, of Starr, South Carolina, was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver of methamphetamine, felony possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule IV controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was given a $75,000 bond.

–Timmy Oswaldo Locklear, 25, of Eagle Springs, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by convicted felon and possession of stolen firearm. He was given a $15,000 bond.

–James Patrick Britt, 25, of Southern Pines, was charged with possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
