Escape that hot July heat with a cold drink and a sizzling evening of live entertainment featuring circus, burlesque and variety artists from around the Triangle at the Cirque De Vol: Summer Sizzler Cirque-Burlesque Showcase at Kings Barcade at 9 p.m. Admission is $10.
Music will play in downtown Raleigh from 5 to 10:30 p.m. as part of the Oak City 7 summer concert series. Just come out to City Plaza to see three live bands - there's no cover.
