'Longest Night' returns to Morehead Planetarium
The show, made in collaboration with Paperhand Puppet Intervention, is a 'timeless fable of courage, generosity and renewal.' Best for ages 7 and up.

Its story explores the concept that winter is a time for Earth to rest, waiting for new growth in the spring. Its star, a young girl born into a family of nomadic storytellers, embarks on a simple quest that leads her to a dragon's nest," according to Morehead's website. The show combines live-action video of Paperhand's puppets with fulldome animation.
It will remain on the schedule through Feb. 23. Showtimes are 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., Saturday, and 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., Sunday. Tickets to Morehead's shows are $7.25 for adults and $6 for kids, seniors and students.
